NET Refugee Webinar Series: Empowering Refugees and Migrants Through Entrepreneurship

The NET Refugee project recently completed a highly successful series of webinars across its partner countries—Spain, Belgium, and Finland. Each partner hosted a three-part webinar series designed to equip refugees and migrants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to start a business in their new communities. This interactive series introduced participants to the NET Refugee Entrepreneurship Guidebook, a comprehensive resource tailored for aspiring entrepreneurs. The webinars were held in English, the host country's official language, and Arabic to ensure accessibility for a diverse audience.

Each session covered critical elements of entrepreneurship, including financial planning, legal requirements, business networking, and branding. Guided by experienced hosts, participants explored practical strategies for business success in their new environments, with real-life examples, group discussions, and Q&A sessions enhancing the learning experience. Feedback from attendees emphasized the value of these webinars, noting the relevance of the content and the supportive, multilingual approach.

The success of this webinar series reflects the dedication of the NET Refugee partners to provide meaningful, accessible resources for refugees and migrants. Each partner’s webinar left participants feeling empowered, better prepared, and motivated to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
